Introducing Jared Turner

Jared Turner is the presenter of The Energy Spot.

He is an actor who trained in theatre and graduated from Theatre Nepean in Sydney in 2000.

Jared has performed in film, television and theatre. He is currently performing in the television series ‘Go Girls' as the character Ben Maddox and is preparing a theatre tour to Hong Kong, Sydney and Wellington for the International Festival of the Arts in the theatre production of ‘The Arrival'.

Jared was born in Taranaki and currently lives in Auckland with his partner and three children.

Jared's easy going manner, open style and enthusiasm made him a good choice for the Energy Spot job. And having a young family, he is interested in ways he can save money, have a warmer, healthier home and do his bit for the environment.

Jared is enjoying learning about better ways to manage his energy use, and the collective effect that has on New Zealand's resources, as the series rolls out.
