Energy rating labels all have a simple star rating. The more stars on the label, the more energy efficient the appliance is compared to similar models.
The most efficient products also carry the ENERGY STAR® mark. This is the global mark of energy efficiency, typically awarded to the top 25% most energy efficient products in a category.
